Bullying And Harassment In The Workplace
In firmly addressing bullying and harassment, forward thinking organisations recognise the potential benefits of providing a working environment based upon the principles or equality, respect and dignity. But, merely introducing policies and procedures will not in themselves change attitudes, or more significantly the culture that supports inappropriate behaviour. Our course encourages delegates to challenge inappropriate behaviour and provides techniques for doing so.
To reflect the differing needs of staff and managers, we offer programmes at two distinct levels.
Standard Course
The Standard Course raises awareness of the impact of bullying and harassment on staff and the working environment. It aims to build understanding and resilience to inappropriate behaviour whilst encouraging cultural change by challenging attitudes. The objective of the course is to create an intolerant approach to inappropriate behaviour in the workplace.
Advanced Course
The Advanced Course is aimed at front line supervisors and managers and whilst we cover the same baseline issues as the Standard Course, we enter into more detail (shown in italics) and specifically examine the resource and legal implications of not addressing inappropriate behaviour in the working place.
